Chng Hak Kiat
Chief Executive Officer
Chng Hak Kiat, a seasoned industry veteran, brings extensive expertise in data centre development, acquisition, leasing, and operations in APAC. As the former COO of Keppel Data Centres and Brookfield APAC DC Management, he spearheaded the expansion of Keppel DC's business from 2 to 20 regional assets and played a crucial role in its inaugural REIT listing in 2014. During his tenure at Brookfield, he was pivotal in the strategic development of the DCI business portfolio acquired from Blackstone. Chng places a premium on collaboration, steering partnerships with a keen emphasis on fostering synergies and cultivating an innovative culture within the ever-evolving data centre space.
Lim Pei Ping
Chief Operations Officer
Lim Pei Ping brings a distinctive edge to leading Epoch Digital’s operations. Formerly the Global Accounts Director at Keppel Data Centres, she adeptly managed client relationships and P&L responsibilities for major accounts. Lim not only excelled in leasing and maintaining occupancy of Keppel's Asia data centres but also played an instrumental role in the company's groundbreaking REIT listing in 2014. Her well-established connections span hyperscalers, corporate entities, and government clients, providing Epoch Digital with a unique blend of strategic networks and insights, along with a proven track record in optimising and sustaining clients’ business growth.
Johnnie Tng
Chief Finance Officer
Johnny Tng, a luminary in the real estate sector, boasts over two decades of senior management expertise. As a seasoned financial leader, he served as the CFO for Ascendas Property Fund, AEP Investment, Ying Li Intl Real Estate, Keppel REIT Management, and EC World Asset Management (of SGX-listed EC World REIT). Tng has also distinguished himself with influential roles in corporate finance and private equity investment, bringing a refreshing blend of financial acumen and strategic vision to the forefront of real estate management for data centres.
Sam Kim
Chief Strategy Officer
Sam Kim, the former Head of Americas, SE Asia, and Korea at Amazon Web Services, brings a wealth of experience in steering diligence, acquisition, and delivery of over 500MW data centre capacity, translating to transactions exceeding $1Bn across 7 countries. Sam possesses notable expertise in launching private equity-backed data centre franchises. His dynamic engagements encompass advisory and management roles for industry leaders such as Digital Bridge/Vantage, STT GDC, Hyosung Group, Yondr Data Centres, and Brookfield DCI. Kim stands out for his strategic prowess and impactful contributions in the data centre innovation and investment landscape.
